Union County has a number of committees working towards making improvements in their communities.

Healthy Hometowns

Both Afton and Creston have engaged with the Healthy Hometown Initiative Powered By Wellmark. Together, we discuss ways to make our community members feel empowered to move more, eat better, and feel better.

Update Uptown

Discover UC and The Creston CAST Classroom have partnered together for the last two years, to organize and Uptown Event, in Creston, that encourages community feedback and participation in creative placemaking activities.
